MUSIC GROUP
The music group exists to enhance the liturgy through music for the benefit of the whole community, in particular by supporting the congregational singing the mass parts as well as the hymns.
Regular activities centre on the Family Mass on Sunday together with special occasions and ecumenical services.
There are both wind and string instruments, typically flutes, clarinets, and violins together with guitars and recorders. Players range from beginners to very competent. It is an ideal situation for the less sure to gain confidence in playing with a group and new members are always welcome.
The group plays most Sundays of the month with a short practice before mass. Music is distributed in advance each week to allow players to learn the music at home beforehand.
For further information, please contact N. Mottram or L. Macdougall in person after 10:30 Mass on Sundays or by email or phone (07740796836)
